The latest Premier set from Hornby is called the 'Venice
Simplon-Orient-Express British Pullman' and features Rebuilt Merchant Navy Class 35028
'Clan Line' with three of the new Pullman cars. This is the first time we have seen 'Clan
Line' since the second batch, produced in 2000, with a revised smokebox door.
The Pullman cars are smooth sided and correctly have white roofs. They consist of 1st class kitchen car 'Minerva', 1st class parlour car 'Cygnus' and 1st class parlour car 'Ibis'. A coach pack is proposed which will add a further four Pullman cars to make a 7 coach train.
The set is packed in one of the expensive looking red cabinets and includes the Select digital controller, two ovals of track with a crossover and a siding - and a Trakmat.
