This is a 3-car pack containing the two power cars and trailer standard open car 'E'. The three are in the new (and final) Midland Mainline livery and look smart. The HST model dates from 1981 and, although mechanically improved, the body moulding tools are now 26 years old. Since it was introduced, many versions of it have been released - firstly by Graham Farish as an independent company and again by Bachmann since taking over the company in 2000.
The motorised power car is numbered '43056' and the dummy power car is '43178'. The Mk3 TSO is numbered '42112'.
