Hornby have now released both livery versions of the Mk3 Caledonian Sleeper - pre- and post-takeover of the ScotRail franchise by the First Group.
R4283A is in the earlier livery, first seen on the former Lima model
last year and now offered with a new running number - which is '10529'. This model is in
the two shades of violet with the white (shading to pale grey) 'Whoosh' design on its
sides.
R4307 is in a single shade of deep violet with white and red bands running the length of the coach. The band along the centre of the vehicle is broken at a central point for the inclusion of the name 'Caledonian Sleeper'. At either end of this band is inserted the First Group logo. The doors are still white but with a grey lower section and a red horizontal band at waist height. The running number carried by the coach is '10523'.
