These coaches were built by the GWR to run in two car sets. They each contained 6 non-corridor compartments and a guards/luggage area at one end. The model was produced by Airfix in 1977 and taken over by Hornby in 1996. The latest release sees the model in BR unlined maroon livery as 'W6534W' (R4293A) and 'W6535W' (R4293B).
