This is essentially a raised roadway for lorries to back down and tip their loads into a chute which feeds the materials into a wagon on a track which runs below. The model is mostly built in metal with 'I' section girders for the supports and main frame and embossed metal sheet for the cladding. The roadway is slightly ramped at the end to indicate to the lorry driver how close to the edge he is.
