The book covers the former Great Eastern Railway line between Beccles and Lowestoft Central (including the Lowestoft South Side Branch to the South Quay and Kirkley Goods Depot). Also, Yarmouth Beach Station to Lowestoft Central using the Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway crossing of Breydon Water and the route of the Norfolk & Suffolk Joint Railway down the coast. The rail network in Lowestoft Harbour, which served the fish market, has a chapter at the end of the book. As with all volumes in this 'library' there is plenty of research material for the modeller.
