Britain's Model Trains 2009

This is a very useful book from the publishers of Model Rail magazine. It puts together critiques and reviews that have appeared in Model Rail over the last year, plus more that former editor, Chris Leigh, has compiled specially for the book. Space being limited, the concentration has been on locomotives but includes also models under development for 2009 and 2010. Most of the book is taken up with 00 and N gauge but there is some coverage of larger scales as well as power units and track. Coverage, however, is restricted to British outline models and, in all, over 250 models are included.
