Aspects of Modelling - Track Layouts

Anthony New, a regular contributor to MREmag in the past, has made a name for himself in recent months with his regular layout design column in the Hornby Magazine. He has now completed his book on the subject, which Ian Allan has published in their Aspects of Modelling series. This includes numerous designs, from complete layouts to interesting junction track plans. Anthony brings to the subject an understanding of how the real railways operate and so his designs take account of real train movements. This is particularly important in stations where stock has to be moved around in making up and breaking up trains.
