This highly and superbly illustrated book is a 'must buy' for anyone interested in American railroad liveries, external appearance and seating layout of passenger cars that have operated in the USA. The over-all dimensions of the units is provided along with black and white photos from the past and coloured reproductions of marketing leaflets and posters what traded on the attractive appearance of the trains. However, the real stars of the book are the beautiful coloured drawings of the many types of passenger locomotives and passenger cars, showing the enormous variety of liveries as well as the companies' logos. This is a book about flare and you will want to add it to your reference library.
