Diesel Retrospective Class 47

This could almost have been produced in The Power series as it is very similar in form to many of them. The book starts with a brief look at their predecessors and their production and then the rest of the book is devoted to well captioned pictures of Class 47 diesels, region by region, location by location. There is a table of technical information at the back of the book but the differences between the subclasses would have been useful. There are 32 pages of colour in the back half of the book but all the rest are black and white images. There are some very nice images throughout the book.
