In this volume we continue the series of studies of the Western Main Lines. This book covers the stretch of railway south out of Ludlow, eventually following the Lugg Valley downstream to Hereford. It also includes the branch from Leominster westwards to New Radnor, across the Welsh border, and the branch northwards off this line from Titley to Presteign, also in Wales. In normal Middleton Press format, the book contains a large number of well captioned black and white pictures which show stations and other railway features along these routes at various times in their history. There are copious maps, ticket facsimiles, ticketing information and sample timetables. These books are particularly valuable to anyone modelling stations and railway yards featured in them.
