This locomotive was built as ‘Dunrobin’ for the Duke of Sutherland in 1870. It was sold to the Highland Railway in 1895 who had it rebuilt by Sharpe Stewart with larger cylinders. On completion it was numbered 118 and named ‘Gordon Castle’. It was withdrawn in 1923 shortly after entering LMS stock
